I’ve been going out of my mind because it’s a pain in the butt to get decent wifi at my dorm and I sadly can’t survive long without internet. (There’s no TV at the dorm, okay. The internet was my only weapon against boredom.) I’ve been getting Andie to access my social networking accounts from home for me, just to see what’s going on around the world wide web. *insert keyboard smash of intense frustration*
Anyway, today was my first day at UST and as luck would have it, I managed to get lost because my classroom is literally tucked away beside a stairwell, okay. I had to ask a couple of junior girls where my room was and thankfully they were nice enough to point me to the right direction. Hooray!
Jane had suggested we all go out to lunch and most of us came with. We even invited the seniors who had semi-oriented us in the morning. We got along well enough during lunch at McDo and a few of us went back to UST for lack of things to do. We ended up hanging out at Lovers Lane because the heat was insane and it was hard trying to hide the ten of us under just two umbrellas.
Eventually the others had to go home but Angela, Jane and I decided to get milk tea before parting ways and walked all the way to Moonleaf by P. Noval. The air conditioning was the most welcome change in the history of ever and we passed a bit of time there, talking about different books and TV shows (we were all proudly Team Stefan and Elena and lengthily discussed why Damon and Elena’s love was severely unhealthy). It was lovely geeking out with the two of them and they were honestly such good company.
On the other hand, I am weirdly excited for lessons to start. Is that wrong? :)) Anyway, my first day at university turned out better than I expected. I hope the rest of the year turns out the same way!! :)
